Together, we will define EuSEN\u2019s strategic role towards 2035 and agree on concrete priorities and actions to guide our next phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Date<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday, 17 April 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Venue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>University Hospital VUB, Brussels, Belgium<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation in the workshop is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel and accommodation expenses. Themes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workforce and wellbeing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education and certification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical role and scope of practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration across the acute care pathway<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research and evidence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EuSEN\u2019s current positioning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Output: A shared problem analysis and identification of EuSEN\u2019s strengths and areas for development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afternoon Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13:00 \u2013 Phase 3: The Future (2035)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What will emergency nursing in Europe look like in 2035?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What role should EuSEN play?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mixed stakeholder groups will develop future scenarios and \u201c2035 headlines,\u201d focusing on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identity and role of the emergency nurse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>European standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technology and innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EuSEN as knowledge hub, policy voice, professional network, and education &amp; standards actor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Output: Clear future visions and a defined strategic positioning for EuSEN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14:45 \u2013 Phase 4: Common Ground<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key question: What do we fundamentally agree on?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expected results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shared values<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic priorities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Core roles for EuSEN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples may include competency frameworks, research collaboration, advocacy, and professional recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16:00 \u2013 Phase 5: Action &amp; Commitment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Multinational action groups will focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education &amp; certification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research &amp; knowledge sharing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical standards &amp;
