Wellbeing in ED Design

A patient-centered, state of the art ED was designed to cater to the volume and requirements of patients attending University Hospital Limerick in Ireland in 2017. The clinically lead design focused on core ED principles in terms of patient management and flow while providing an optimised working environment for staff. This presentation outlines the core ED design principles adopted in relation to team wellbeing.
